Privacy Policy

EntryDeck is built on a single privacy principle: your data never leaves your device. There is no server, no database, no user accounts, and no data collection of any kind on our end. This policy explains in plain language what happens to your information when you use EntryDeck.

1. Data You Enter Into the App

All information you enter into EntryDeck (your applicant profile, financial figures, document checklist state, timeline dates, and any customised prompts) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device.

• Nothing is transmitted to any server operated by EntryDeck.
• Nothing is shared with third parties.
• Nothing is used for profiling, advertising, or analytics.

You can export your full app state as a JSON file at any time from within the app, and you can delete your data permanently by clearing your browser's site data for the EntryDeck domain.

2. Exchange Rate API Calls

The Profile & Financial Risk module fetches live currency exchange rates from two public APIs:

• Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.app): European Central Bank data, no account or key required.
• Open ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com): anonymous public endpoint.

These requests contain no personal information; only a standard HTTP request for rate data. Results are cached in localStorage for one hour to minimise calls. If you prefer not to use live rates, you can enter a manual override in the app and disable automatic fetching.

3. Purchase & Payment Processing

EntryDeck's payment processing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, a third-party payment provider. When you purchase EntryDeck:

• Your card details and billing information are entered on and processed by Lemon Squeezy, never by us.
• Lemon Squeezy sends us your email address and order ID so we can deliver your license key.
• We store only your email and order reference for the purpose of license delivery and refund processing.

4. Email Communications

We use your email address solely to:

• Deliver your license key after purchase.
• Respond to support or refund requests you initiate.
• Notify you of significant updates to EntryDeck (infrequently, and only if relevant).

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes. You can request removal from any communication list by emailing hello@getentrydeck.com.

5. Cookies & Tracking

EntryDeck does not use cookies. We do not run any analytics, session recording, heat-mapping, or advertising scripts on our site or in the app. The app uses localStorage, not cookies, for state persistence. Lemon Squeezy may set cookies on the checkout overlay; their cookie policy applies to that interaction.

6. Offline & Service Worker

EntryDeck uses a service worker to cache the app's static files for offline use. This cache is stored entirely on your device and contains only the app's own code and assets; no personal data. The service worker does not transmit anything anywhere.

7. Your Rights

Because we hold only your email address and order reference (received via Lemon Squeezy), you have the right to:

• Access: request confirmation of what data we hold about you.
• Deletion: request deletion of your email and order record. (Note: this will invalidate your license key.)
• Portability: export your in-app data at any time using the JSON export feature.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of EntryDeck after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
